Kellie Greene was born and raised in Oswego, NY and it is where her mother and family still reside. Kellie’s mother is a retired New York State Teacher and her father was an Air Force veteran, having served in Alaska during the Cold War as a morse intercept operator. He also served as the commander of the American Legion Post in Pensacola Beach, FL prior to his death in 2010.
Kellie holds several college degrees including an Associates of Science from Bay Path College in Accounting and Business Administration (1990), a Bachelors of Science from Syracuse University in Logistics Management (1992) and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology in International Business (2002). She is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary as well, graduating in June 2012.
Kellie has an extensive business career in International trade, shipping and logistics and has a wealth of knowledge in global economics and trade issues. She has lived and worked in Japan and while a student at Syracuse University, studied in Singapore where she completed an internship with the US Embassy at the Federal Aviation Administration focused on anti-terrorism strategies in conjunction with the Singaporean government. Kellie has been an independent contractor consultant for the past 8 years in the area of global trade and logistics, specifically with manufacturing companies. She also worked as a realtor in Arizona from 2005-2011 and specialized in assisting clients during the housing bust and economic crisis.
Kellie has been involved in politics and a GOP Activist for the past 8 years in Arizona.
She is a strong border security advocate and brings a unique perspective to the debate on the issue having lived on both the northern border, southern border and being a global trade and logistics expert who is well versed in ocean and air transportation security challenges.
